1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Allello (the "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.

2. Nature of Service (Demo Mode)

Allello is currently a Proof of Concept / Demo.

Synthetic Data: Users are prohibited from uploading real personal genetic data (e.g., raw files from 23andMe, AncestryDNA). The Application is currently designed to work only with synthetic or donated sample datasets.

Educational Purpose: The Application is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is intended to demonstrate the capabilities of AI in interpreting genetic information.

3. No Medical Advice

ALLELLO DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. The Application uses a Large Language Model (LLM) to synthesize information. It is not a doctor, genetic counselor, or medical professional.

Insights provided by the AI are not clinical diagnoses.

Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on Allello.

4. Risk of AI "Hallucinations"

You acknowledge that AI technology can occasionally produce "hallucinations"—information that is incorrect, misleading, or factually wrong. Allello does not guarantee the scientific accuracy of the AI-generated responses. Users should verify all genetic interpretations against primary peer-reviewed sources or with a medical professional.

5. Privacy and Data Security

No Personal Data Collection: In this demo phase, do not input personally identifiable information (PII) or real health records.

Data Processing: Any data entered into the chat may be processed by third-party AI providers (such as Google Gemini). By using the Application, you acknowledge that your inputs are subject to the privacy policies of these third-party providers.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the Application.
  • Input real-world sensitive health data of yourself or others during the demo phase.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Allello and its creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application, including but not limited to reliance on any information provided by the AI.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Application following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
